Phyllosticta sojicola
Phyllosticta leaf spot is an uncommon foliar disease of low economic importance in NY.  The disease is favored by cool, moist conditions, and symptoms include irregularly shaped tan/brownish lesions with purplish margins in the lower canopy.  Due to its low occurrence and minor impact, it requires no management recommendations.
